How are the implants inserted into the breast without the scalpel touching it?

With Mia Femtech™, a small incision of approximately two centimeters is made in the armpit and, from there, infiltration begins. This consists of a solution with local anesthetic, saline, and a small amount of adrenaline to constrict the blood vessels and prevent bleeding, along with light sedation.

Once the breast is under local anesthesia, a tubular dissector is introduced through the incision in the armpit. This allows the insertion of a very thin tube with an expander at the tip—similar to an empty balloon—which is inflated to create the space where the implant will be placed.
