Laser Hair Removal

Treatment

Unlike traditional techniques, removing hair by laser is a fast, safe method that leaves the pores and other skin tissues intact.

This technique allows hair to be removed from all parts of the body including the chin, upper lip, cheeks, ears, nose, forehead, neck, armpits, arms, thorax, areolas, back, linea alba, groin and legs.

Procedure

The process is based on the production of beams of laser light on the skin while a spray of cold gas anesthetizes the area. Some patients may feel a slight discomfort in highly extensive treatments so it is advisable to divide these into two sessions. A session can last from 10 minutes to an hour and is carried out at the clinic with no need for hospitalization.

The normal practice is to rest at least a month and a half between sessions. After each one there is less hair and it is weaker and lighter. Most patients find that hair removal is 100% successful and long-lasting after just a few sessions.

Hospitalisation

Laser hair removal does not require hospitalisation.

Anaesthesia

Laser hair removal is done on outpatient basis and does not require anaesthesia. A spray of cold gas is applied during treatment that anesthetizes the area to avoid any possible discomfort.
