AESTHETIC REGENERATIVE MEDICINE
WHAT IS REGENERATIVE MEDICINE?
Regenerative medicine and the science of longevity are at the forefront of a new paradigm in which healing is no longer reactive but proactive where the body’s innate ability to repair itself is enhanced by technology available exclusively in Spain at our clinic. Bioregenerative cell therapies revitalize aging tissues, hyperbaric oxygen therapy stimulates cellular repair, and precision health strategies tailor each diagnosis to the unique biological map of every individual.
THE SCIENCE
OF QUALITY
OF LIFE.
REJUVENATING AND EMPOWERING THE BODY
TO HEAL ITSELF.
It's a fact: humans age. Regenerative medicine works to slow down this process and treat chronic diseases that develop with age. We can define regenerative medicine as a set of treatments and technologies focused on slowing down ageing. Our scientific approach works to empower the body to heal itself, promoting long-term health and vitality.

Therapeutic Regenerative Treatments
By combining traditional medical expertise with the latest advances in regenerative science, Clínica Planas offers holistic, personalized treatment plans to optimize health and longevity.
Dr. Miguel Garber integrates multiple treatments to improve longevity and promote optimal healing. These include growth factors, cell therapies, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), nutraceuticals, and lifestyle optimisation. Combined, these procedures create a comprehensive framework for tissue regeneration, inflammation control, and overall longevity improvement.
Aesthetic Regenerative Treatments
Aesthetic regenerative treatments offer twofold benefits: functional restoration and visible rejuvenation.
By integrating regenerative therapies with aesthetic procedures, patients experience enhanced tissue repair, cellular renewal, and improved skin quality.
This holistic approach not only promotes longevity but also boosts self-confidence and emotional well-being, reinforcing the deep connection between physical health and mental wellness.

REGENERATIVE MEDICINE:
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Diagnosis forms the foundation for a personalized treatment plan.
It begins with a detailed consultation, comprehensive physical examination, and in-office tests to assess biological, vascular, and metabolic age, chronic inflammation levels, and stress status.
A targeted laboratory analysis focusing on longevity further refines the evaluation.
This integrated assessment enables tailored, evidence-based interventions that address current health concerns while proactively promoting long-term well-being.
Our precision medicine approach ensures that each individual receives treatments uniquely adapted to their evolving biology.
REGENERATIVE TECHNOLOGY
AND EQUIPMENT
Time Machine
Clínica Planas is currently one of the few clinics in Europe to have Time Machine. This equipment allows us to perform biological treatments on patients in a shorter period of time and with greater safety in order to regenerate damaged tissue.
Hyperbaric Chamber
The hyperbaric chamber is a space that is pressurised in the same way as an aeroplane, and where the patient breathes 100% oxygen.
This means that we increase the atmospheric pressure to twice or more than what we breathe under normal conditions.
Hyperbaric chamber and plastic and cosmetic surgery
Since our inception in the early 1970s, Clínica Planas has been a leading centre for plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, characterised by innovation based on scientific evidence.
What are the advantages of the hyperbaric chamber for regenerative medicine?
After surgery, the hyperbaric chamber aids in the anti-inflammatory and healing process. With 5 post-operative sessions, it is possible to speed up recovery.
1. Promotes healing
2. Rapid recovery
3. Reduces pain caused by inflammation.
In addition, it is an excellent treatment that can also be prescribed by a doctor before the patient enters the operating theatre.
What are the advantages of the hyperbaric chamber before surgery?
For smokers or people with any type of risk, we recommend 3 to 5 sessions prior to surgery to ensure optimal conditions for entering the operating theatre.
1. Optimal scar recovery
2. Improves peripheral blood flow
3. Speeds up recovery
Whether before or after surgery, hyperoxygenation of tissues at a minimum of atmospheres is always beneficial for patients. The introduction of the hyperbaric chamber as a non-invasive protocol to speed up the healing and scarring process for our patients is another step forward in evolution.

What is regenerative medicine?
It is inevitable: our cells and tissues age, which is a degenerative process.
When we talk about regenerative medicine, we are referring to regenerating the ‘degeneration’ that occurs in the body due to the passage of time.
Regenerative medicine, as its name suggests, is a medical subspecialty that specialises in tissue regeneration. -
What’s the difference between functional and regenerative medicine?
Functional medicine focuses on improving the function of a system or tissue rather than its anatomy or structure. Regenerative medicine improves the anatomy of a tissue and, as a result, also improves its function. Regenerative medicine is often considered part of functional medicine.
-
Can all tissues be regenerated?
In laboratory settings, most tissues show regenerative potential, but clinically, not all tissues can be regenerated.
-
When can regenerative medicine be applied?
The versatility of regenerative medicine treatments allows for the treatment of multiple pathologies and aesthetic conditions:
1. Joint and muscle injuries
From osteoarthritis to tendinitis or sports injuries, these therapies regenerate soft tissues, reduce pain and accelerate recovery.
2. Chronic lower back and neck pain
When pain persists, even with osteopathy or other treatments, these therapies can act directly on inflammation and affected tissue.
3. Vascular erectile dysfunction
By regenerating cavernous tissue and improving microcirculation, firmer and longer-lasting erections are achieved.
4. Vaginal atrophy and vulvar lichen sclerosus
5. Regenerative oncology medicine
6. Natural facial rejuvenation
Improves skin texture, firmness, density and luminosity. Ideal for preventing ageing without aggressive interventions.
7. Hair medicine
Stops hair loss, stimulates growth and strengthens follicles. Used both in alopecia and in the postoperative period of hair transplants. -
What treatments use regenerative medicine?
Regenerative medicine has transformed the way we understand the treatment of ageing, joint and muscle injuries, hair loss and even certain sexual dysfunctions. At the heart of this revolution are autologous treatments—that is, treatments derived from the patient themselves—which harness the biological power of each individual.
