Facial appearance is evaluated according to the three-dimensional relationship between its different zones. That is why its bone contours and particularly the chin and cheek play such an important role in harmonizing and balancing facial beauty.
It is not required
Chin augmentation is carried out using the same procedures. The prosthetic implant is placed through the mouth and leaves no visible scar.
It can also be done via lipoinjection, i.e. injecting fat extracted from the same patient via liposuction. The fat is previously centrifuged so that only intact fat capable of surviving is injected, thereby ensuring permanent results.
In addition to skin, the surgery also concentrates on the muscular, bone and fat structures of the face, achieving more natural initial results and a longer lasting effect.
In general, the patient only needs to remain at the center for one day, unless the procedure is combined with other operations.
Chin and cheek surgery is performed under local anesthesia and sedation and the patient remains awake throughout but sedated.
However, on some occasions it may be felt more appropriate to use general anesthesia.
Post-operative recovery is not usually painful and any discomfort can normally be relieved with analgesics. Most patients resume their normal activity in approximately two weeks.
The chin is so important for the harmony of the face, such as eyes, nose, or the oval are. Our aim is to provide harmony or beauty to the face, sometimes to create a contrast of volume that highlights an unnoticed feature and, above all, give proportion to the dimensions of the face.Curriculum
