The Planas Guarantee is Clínica Planas’ commitment to support our patients medically and personally for a period of 2 years from their procedure.
The Planas Guarantee understands surgery as an ongoing medical process, in which biological factors, healing, body adaptation, and individual clinical evolution may play a role.
For this reason, if during this period a medical complication arises or the result obtained does not reasonably match the defined goal, we commit to evaluate, monitor, and act medically to correct the situation and achieve the best possible outcome, always following clinical judgment, good medical practice, and the patient’s best interest.
Our Planas Guarantee does not promise absolute or perfect results, because medicine does not operate in terms of mathematical certainties. What it guarantees is something more meaningful: presence, continuity of care, and medical responsibility over time.

Aesthetic Surgery
- 24/7 emergencies and priority clinical follow-up.
- Complications at no cost (operating room, fees, anesthesia, hospitalization, and care).
- Touch-up with your surgeon: included whenever medically advisable and beneficial for the patient.
- Exclusions in body and breast surgery: body changes unrelated to surgery (pregnancy, significant weight changes), trauma, smoking (affects healing), failure to attend follow-up appointments.
- Breast implant guarantee: activation on the manufacturer’s website is required. Information will be provided on discharge day.

Reconstructive Surgery
- 24/7 emergencies and priority clinical follow-up.
- Complications at no cost (operating room, fees, anesthesia, and care).
- Exclusions: body changes unrelated to surgery (pregnancy, significant weight changes), trauma, smoking (affects healing), failure to attend follow-up appointments.
Planas Guarantee 2 years in
Hair Surgery
- 24/7 emergencies and priority clinical follow-up.
- Complications at no cost (operating room, fees, anesthesia, hospitalization, care, etc.).
- Free touch-up when grafts in an area do not develop within expected medical parameters and there are no external factors. In these cases, a partial touch-up limited to the initially indicated maximum number of grafts or a complementary treatment to improve density and appearance may be performed. The indication and timing are solely medical. It does not imply extending treatment to new areas.
- Exclusions: natural progression of hair loss in untreated areas, trauma, burns, repeated microtrauma, smoking/nicotine, failure to attend follow-ups, neglecting care or post-op recommendations, procedures or treatments performed in another clinic. Non-surgical treatments (dutasteride, finasteride, cytokines) are not included unless specifically indicated in the budget.

- Touch-up with your surgeon: included whenever medically advisable and beneficial for the patient.
- Requires attending follow-ups and following medical instructions.
- Exclusions for reinterventions:
- Surgical implant materials (plates, screws, prostheses, etc.)
- Trauma or accidents after surgery, smoking/nicotine use (affects healing), failure to attend follow-ups or comply with post-op care, pre-existing or new unrelated pathologies.
Planas Guarantee 2 years in
Proctological Surgery
- 24/7 emergencies and priority clinical follow-up.
- Complications at no cost (operating room, fees, anesthesia, and care) only for the procedure performed.
- Any material and/or medication needed during the procedure and subsequent hospitalization if necessary.
In Proctology, Clínica Planas is responsible for any complication directly resulting from the surgery occurring during the procedure and up to 7 days afterward. If a reintervention is required within that period by medical prescription, it is covered by the guarantee.
This guarantee does not cover aesthetic results, subjective satisfaction, or additional interventions unless medically indicated and budgeted.
Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Emergencies
We are the only private plastic surgery center in Barcelona with 24/7 on-site medical care. If a patient has an emergency or concern, a surgeon will be available, even in the operating room if necessary.
Other Complementary Services
Clínica Planas offers optional additional services to optimize recovery, reduce inflammation, and improve post-operative comfort.
Hyperbaric Chamber
The Clínica Planas hyperbaric chamber is a single-seat Perry Sigma 36 capsule where the patient breathes pure oxygen at elevated atmospheric pressure.
Improved tissue function through increased oxygenation allows faster recovery in any post-operative process by reducing inflammation and enhancing healing. 5 sessions / 1 hour each.
Localized Cold Therapy
A safe, comfortable, and effective isotermic therapeutic treatment to achieve faster recovery by reducing pain, inflammation, swelling, and bruising.
Physiotherapy
This treatment improves venous return, alleviates discomfort, and facilitates recovery.
