Unifying the Skin with IPL

The passing of time and external factors such as the sun accelerate the skin´s aging processes. In these cases, skin becomes rough and irregular, as well as having dark patches, reddened areas or veins that can spoil its uniform color. To improve these aspects and rejuvenate the skin there are several systems available such as IPL (intense pulsed light). This is a light source with different properties to other methods such as the laser.
IPL is a treatment that requires several sessions and gradually improves the tone and texture of the skin, eliminating dark patches, red areas, dilated pores and fine lines.

Although it is normally used on the face, it can also be applied on the neck, upper chest, hands and even legs or arms.

And because it is not aggressive, patients can resume their everyday life immediately.

In those cases where the doctor feels it is appropriate, IPL can also be combined with other techniques such as the injection of fillers, Botox, peels, radio frequency and can even be recommended as a complementary treatment for surgical techniques such as face-lifts and eyelid surgery.

Procedure

The IPL treatment starts with the emission of flashes of light. This is the energy that will act internally on the skin to improve its appearance.

GOODBYE TO IMPERFECTIONS

IPL helps to improve the quality of skin, achieving a more luminous appearance as it eliminates dark patches, reddened areas and other skin imperfections. It also stimulates the formation of collagen in the deeper layers of the skin, and so reduces expression lines and dilated pores.
