Facial mesoplasty

Mesoplasty is the optimum treatment for facial rejuvenation. It is carried out on the face, neck and hands and results in replacing volume in the facial area, obtaining firmer and brighter skin, flattening wrinkles and improving the patient’s skin, always preserving the natural look of the face.

This treatment is tailored for each patient. It is based on a personalised diagnosis that takes account of the patient’s make up and habits such as tobacco, nutrition, skin moisturising, sleep, excessive gestures, sun exposure, age, stress, genetics and free radical augmentation. These factors are the main causes of aging, loss of elasticity and wrinkling of the skin. Facial mesoplasty uses tailored procedures to fight all these aging signs, resulting in a rejuvenated and uniformed face.

Procedure

Facial mesoplasty involves injecting a mix of bio-stimulant substances into the dermis in order to stimulate the production of fibroblasts (cells that produce collagen) and the construction of tension columns. These substances fight the flaccidity in order to repair and moisturize tissues, regenerate volume, correct deep wrinkles and skin depressions and flatten expression wrinkles.

A mixture of various substances is used in facial mesoplasty, its primary product being hyaluronic acid. There are two types: reticular, which is used for filling volume (lip augmentation, wrinkle filling) and non reticular, which is combined with vitamins (A, E, C, B and K), mineral nutrients, minerals and metabolic antioxidants in order to repair cellular damage and stimulate tissue regeneration.

In facial mesoplasty, botulinum toxin is also used to treat dynamic wrinkles and other substances are used to correct flaccidity, such as that of the face tissues.

Facial mesoplasty is usually carried out in two sessions and under a local anaesthetic. This treatment has no collateral effects. It may result in some reddish areas or bruising, but with some make up the patient is able to resume his/her daily activities on the same day as the treatment.
