Intimate Feminine Surgery

There exist congenital or acquired abnormalities in the feminine genital area that can develop a complex or, bother the woman in her normal or sexual life.

The above mentioned alterations can be treated surgically with optimal results.

These are simple surgeries, with a short recovery and relatively little discomfort.

The most common surgeries are: labiaplasty (labia majora and minora), mons pubis reduction, vaginal rejuvenation and clitoris increase.

LABIALPLASTY (LABIA MINORA)

The most common surgical procedure in intimate feminine surgery is the reduction of labia minora, also called nymphae. If the labia minora have a large size, they may cause you some trouble, not only when having sexual intercourse but also when wearing clothing or performing other activities. Besides, it is also important from an aesthetic point of view.

This surgery can be carried out with local anaesthesia and sedation. The labia minora is reduced and the normal contour and anatomy are preserved, as well as their edge sensitivity. This is a surgery with relatively little discomfort and fast recovery. Many times, this alteration is associated with a reduction of the labia majora, which can be increased in the same surgery on the labia minora with an injection of autologous fat. The result is aesthetically balanced.

LABIALPLASTY (LABIA MAJORA)

When the labia majora have an enlarged size and protrude too much, they can cause some trouble; besides showing a non-aesthetic effect. By carrying out a surgery with local anaesthesia and sedation, we can reduce them up to obtain the proportionate and desired size.
On the contrary, the lack of development of the labia majora can be corrected by infiltrating autologous fat.

REDUCTION OF THE MONS PUBIS

Somtimes the pubis is too large and does not reduce its volume with the loss of weight. This alteration can be treated with liposculpture. Surgery is carried out under local anaesthesia and sedation. In some cases, besides liposuction, it is needed a skin excision that leaves a scar just over the pubis.

VAGINAL REJUVENATION

The vagina, as a result of the childbirths or the passage of time, can lose tone and present laxity. These disorders can be corrected with surgery in order to reinstate the vaginal muscles or to strengthen the vaginal channel.
This type of surgery is performed under general anaesthesia.
It is important to highlight that the aim of the Intimate Surgery is to correct the aesthetic or functional disorder, preserving the sensitivity entirely.
